Planet Hollywood Casino
Technology West Group’s team is known worldwide for the design and integration of many themed restaurants and theme parks. Leaving no question as to why our team, once again, was assembled to assist Panasonic in this one of a kind project. The main focus Planet Hollywood has is to provide their guest with a one of a kind audio and video experience. They wanted us to deliver the capabilities to play multiple sources to display monitors located throughout the venue. In addition to this, we were asked to help integrate the existing audio design with a new and more extreme audio system for the casino’s upgrades. Technology West Group stood up to the challenge and still provides them with excellent service and ongoing developments to this day.
Within the casino, approximately 200 plasma screens are mounted in an array of configurations throughout the space, including screens stacked in portrait and landscape orientation that tower over the casino floor. The casino also uses portrait-mounted displays on the end-caps and ceiling-mounted projectors to display graphics on the casino’s walls. The Heart Bar, one of the hotel’s many venues, includes thirty-two 65-inch plasma screens to display sporting events and promotions. Planet Dailies Restaurant boasts more than 50 LCD and plasmas. Rather than the standard embedded wall mounts, the hotel’s elevators feature uniquely mounted displays in the ceiling.
