Herringbone

Most Vegas resort-casino restaurants are far from the nearest window, and the sounds of slot machines aren’t too far off. But because this restaurant is tucked away a couple stories up from the casino floor, and there are plenty of windows to let in ample sunlight, you really feel transported far from the Strip. Walking through the gigantic glass doors onto the Herringbone’s sun-soaked, pool-side patio you would think you forgot your surfboard. A beach house in the desert, this venue sports a relaxed yet refined style with a modern nautical whimsy. The olive trees, pergolas, and fountains give a very elegant feel that screams Vegas, but the weathered wood chairs and contemporary couches with fun pillows and twine accents add a layer of California comfort. The style is unique, light, and fresh, just like their menu.

It’s a low-key, well-designed space, with a relaxing vibe thanks to a light blue color scheme and plenty of light woods, and it’s an all-around great place to start a lazy Las Vegas day.
